Honoring a team that often faced bigger, faster opponents this year and never, never, ever quit was the theme for the evening. Every player on this team deserved an award. They all played with "lionhearts" in one of the toughest 5A districts in Texas high school football.

We were very proud that the team would honor Ross with The Lionheart Award for his leadership on the team. C-team 7th grade...B-team 8th grade...A-team reserve player 9th grade...JV reserve player 10th grade...JV starter 11th grade...Varsity starter, special teams Senior and he never gave up either. It's still hard to get him up out of bed on Saturday morning but we love him.
