I've shot hundreds of photos out there from shore, and hiked all over the lake since I was a kid, but I've never gotten out there in a canoe. Your photos of the Morrison Creek Flume looking back at the lake have motivated me to do it. It never occurred to me to travel across the flume, across the Folsom South Canal, and into the other side where the creek comes into the lake. The photos of the birds I also enjoyed.

I've started a blog about the lake for people who visit the lake and enjoy the lake as it is. I hope you'll visit and submit a story to the site about your trip. I'm trying to use the blog to educate people about the lake and encourage them to tell their stories about their visits, and to help organize cleanups, and more advocacy to protect the lake from encroaching development.
