This is the big rig - a Gallien-Krueger 1001-RBII head and a pair of Dr. Bass Rx112 cabinets.

I bought the head used on Talkbass, it came with the rack. It has more power than I'll probalby ever need.

The cabinets are custom built by Dr. Bass. Marc at Dr. Bass talked to me about what my requirements were and helped me arrive at these. Each is in his standard Rx112 cabinet (the Rx series are no longer available) but none of the components are from the Rx series (his original low-end models). The main drivers are Eminence Neo 2512's and the horn and crossover are from the BL series cabinets (his original high-end models). Since my head can bi-amp cabinets made like the G-K HMS series cabinets, he also added a second Speakon jack that bypasses the internal crossover - at no extra charge. That way I can biamp these cabinets in the same way as the G-K's.

The price he charged me for the pair was rediculously low. These are custom built cabinets that cost what a good used cabinet would cost.
