The Statue of St. Anne, also know as The Statue of Miracles, is at the "entrance" to a large chapel on the left side of the main cathedral at The Basilica of St. Anne de Beaupre. The basilica is known for being the site where many people have prayed for a miracle to cure all kinds of illnesses, infirmities, etc. and prayers said at this statue are said to have been particularly effective. While were were here, the kneelers around this statue were always filled with people hoping for a miracle.
At the rear of the main cathedral, on the large pillars just inside the main entrance, are hundreds of crutches and other items used by people who apparently got the miracles they were praying for.
