Today is a year and seven months... bud. Not forgotten you, and still think of you. Thanks for being my friend for so long.

I still look and listen for you.......

I still wake up and watch I don't step on him beside my bed..... I still ride up on my bike expecting him to greet me at the driveway. I still look for him at bed time. When the wind blows his collar swings on the lattice and I hear his familiar sound of his tags clinking, and I look for him.

Still.


He was 14 years and 4 months, 100 dog years. I miss him and still cry when I think of how much a part of my life he was. He was always there, saved me from a bear attack, worked in the bush with me, mountain climbed, in float planes, helicopters and always knew how to cheer me up. Like we both could read each others mind. God knows I'll miss him...... a big part of me went with him.
