The National Socialist Party Came to Knoxville, TN in August of 2010. They marched from downtown four blocks to the old courthouse where they held their rally. They faced counter-protesters across the street. More than 150 police officers and state troopers were there. There were several arrests, including, if I remember right, three for possession of firearms. But I don't believe the firearms were held by either the Nazis or the counter protesters.
It was drizzling rain during most of the event, so the images reflect the conditions. Everything here shot with the Nikon D3s and the 70-200VRII, which I think is still the best candid street combination available.
