Nicaragua Dental Mission 2006

February 2006 - A team of students from the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC) Dental School led by Dr. Greg Houston worked for a week in the villages of Mulukuku and Santa Rita in central Nicaragua. Dr. Rob Smith, a urologist from Kansas City worked at the womens clinic in Mulukuku. The UMKC dental team consisted of Aaron Cregger, Hannah Gee, Caroline Giles, David King, Jacob Laudie, Tim O'Bryan, Rachel Pitts, Amy Rhoades, Jeffrey Rockwood, Lyuda Tavolzhanskaya, Tim Windham, Amy Tasca, Dr. Greg Houston, Dr. Robert Altimar. Non-UMKC particpants included Dr. Robert Smith, Don Clark, Rosemary Bagley, Cesar Paniamogan and Dan Polley. After the mission, the group relaxed in the coastal town of San Juan del Sur.

Dan..I am a big fan of your pictures, and like looking at them to see occassional shots of my buddies from down in San Juan. This Mission album is my favorite one yet...you really did a great job of capturing the feel of being out in the campo...almost felt like I was back in the Peace Corps in Boaco. Keep up the great work.
