Raversijde is just outside of Ostend. There are two major site's.
1. Walraversijde: An archeologic site of a 14 century fishing-village, with some reconstructed houses.
2. The Atlantic Wall: part of the WW II German defence system that stretched all along the western coast of Europe, from Spain to Northern Norway. Part of the Raversijde site dates back to WW I.
