This one is on the bank of the Racquette River near Piercefield, New York.
This area of the river is called Piercefield Flow.
The Racquette River meanders all over the Adirondack Mountains, eventually emptying into the
St. Lawrence River.
Near Blue Mountain Lake, New York there is a divide: rivers East of the divide flow into the St. Lawrence River; rivers west of the divide flow into the Hudson River. The source of the Hudson River is a tiny Adirondack lake called 'Tear of the Clouds', which is located near Newcomb, New York. From there it flows down to New York City, where it then empties into the Atlantic Ocean.
