This was my 12th visit to these two peaks so finished for the grid! The ledges were covered with ice so it was a bit of a challenge heading up but I had brought a small ice axe and that was enough to pull me up on the first big step where I can't get a handhold above. the snow is hard packed now and the going was quick but I would rather have the winter wonderland we had last week! Water crossing on the Dicey's Mill trail was on the log. One surprise was all the bear tracks up on the Rollins trail! 11.6 miles with 4131 ft of ascent elevation...I know I'll be back to visit other trails on these beautiful mountains in the Sandwich range! So much to explore in the area.
