I didn't need Passaconaway for the February grid so it was nice to hike Whiteface and get done early. The snow was soft but the trail was broken out which made for easy going. The ledges were covered with snow so we were able to walk right up, much easier than the last time when they were ice covered. It was very windy and cold up on the ridge, maybe why we didn't linger and finished quick!
