Beautiful day for a hike up Mt Washington. Chilly, windy, perfect hiking weather! Went up the gentler Jewell trail which is also less crowded with beautiful views into the great Gulf and of the northern presidentials. This way has about 3700 ft of ascent elevation and a more moderate grade then the steeper ravines on the east side. I like the shorter drive.
