Beautiful weather to be above treeline so went up and visited Mt. Monroe and Mt. Washington, about 9.5 miles with 4200 ft of ascent and a very peaceful day. The ammonoosuc ravine trail was fun...took 2.5 hrs to get to the top of Monroe so made pretty good time. Saw a lot of summer hikers and the summit was crowded as usual from tourists so made my way back down jewell and was happy!
