Spent the day with nice company visiting the Tripyramids from Pine Bend Brook off the Kanc and these peaks are now finished for the grid! I was exhausted mentally and physically from hiking 3 days in a row but wanted to get these done before more weather that is coming in tomorrow. All I can say is once again conditions in April kicked my butt. We used snowshoes above the steep gully to the summit and across to Middle Tripyramid and back then switched to spikes for the steep descent. It seemed to take forever going down but then the quick 2 mile hike out was there and we were able to finish barebooting. So much moose activity up there today and said hello to some of my favorite trees in the woods. Yes, April is done!!!! I never thought I'd be here but now a nice break before my last 10 peaks in May. 566/576
