Hiked the Tripyramids from the Kanc; out and back from the Pine Bend Brook trail. It started snowing a lot earlier than I thought so I got a little nervous thinking about the drive home but decided to go for it anyway. The hike was beautiful even with no views. Snowshoes all the way till I got back to the steeps then switched to crampons for the descent and bare booted out. When I hike solo I don't like to slide down....I've had too many near misses sliding so the time it takes to switch to crampons is worth it.
