Chilly start this morning and it was 5 degrees in the parking lot. The first water crossing was interesting, plastic ice over invisible rocks so that took a little head scratching. There was a beautiful alpine glow that was visible on the way up Field and over to Willey. By the time I got to Tom it was snowing and socked in. Very busy for a mid week winter hike, like a summer day! I guess people are finding peace outdoors in these difficult times. Last hike of 2020.
