We took a break from hiking in the White Mountains this weekend and stayed in Southern NH to avoid the bitter cold, high winds and deep snow. Had a blast breaking trail two days in a row on South Pack and North Pack Monadnock. We experienced over 3 ft of fresh powder even in Southern NH and were glad to be closer to home on Friday and Saturday.
