This one never really gets "easy" for me because it's so long, almost 17 miles. Yesterday's visit to Owl's Head was a bit on the wet side from recent rains so lot's of mud, difficult to find bushwhack paths and water high enough to take off the boots on the last crossing made it a long day. Felt like summer, hot and muggy! Huge rescue operation going on from Lincoln Woods for a missing hiker, delayed 3 days now. I saw the picture of him on the news and I swear I talked to him Monday on South Twin. The guy I met said he'd been out since 1 AM and he was exhausted. Called the Fish and Game and left a message but its now almost 4 days later so not sure that will do any good. Finished the June grid with this, my 400th peak!
