This was an 18 mile hike through the Pemigewassett wilderness. The first 5.5 miles are completely flat then there are are two water crossings where I used water shoes to cross the knee high brook The remaining hike is up a slide with beautiful views of the Franconia Ridge then a very steep uphill push through a gully in very rugged terrain.
