First hike of 2020 and it was a great day on the Osceolas! The trail was packed out, enough snow to use snowshoes on the way up East Osceola and over to Osceola. We kept them on up the bypass but did the bushwhack around the bypass on the way back. Switched to crampons to walk down East Osceola as I'm not a fan of sliding on that trail, especially when there are still rocks and trees poking through here and there with large patches of hard ice in numerous sections....crampons worked great! Nice first hike of the new Year with my niece!
