Visited North Brother in Baxter State Park Maine and knocked off another 4 thousand footer for the New England 67 list. I had a flu shot the day before we left and had a reaction to it so this hike was difficult because I felt like I'd been kicked by a mule. Glad the reaction was only a day because I don't llthink I could hike like that for long. This is such a beautiful place -- magical, pristine, uncrowded....doesn't get much better than this!! The hike was not that hard, moderate with some wet spots and rock scrambles but plenty of flat sections to break it up.
