Winter conditions up there! Went up Stony Brook to Carter Moriah trail to the summit. Water crossing at 1.2 miles was an easy rock hop, not frozen yet but enough stable ice to stand on. Lot's of moose, deer, and other animal tracks. New snow was light down low but increasing with elevation to 8 plus inches up high, especially on the Carter Moriah trail where the drifts were really deep and the trail often disappeared. Was pretty tiring breaking trail on this solo hike, didn't see another person all day!
