Fantastic weather for this trip to the Northern Presis. Finished Monroe and Washington for the grid and tagged Jefferson for April. What an epic day in the sun! The snow is melting so fast that conditions are really tough right now. Went up Ammo in spikes, kept them on up Monroe and over to Washington but ended up bare booting to Jefferson and back. When we got below treeline on the Jewell trail we put snowshoes on for about a mile and that helped but then the trail deteriorated and there were a few trees to maneuver around so we went back to spikes for the duration. All in all fabulous hike with great company! 556/576
