Decided to take a chance on the forecast which was for clouds and some wind but warm on the higher summits and I'm glad I did. The warm part was unbelievable....going up the Ammo trail I was getting really wet from melting snow and I was worried I'd get cold once I hit the wind but it was so warm up there the wind dried me out and it felt great! The clouds cleared when I got up near the Lakes of the Clouds hut and the views were spectacular! After summiting Monroe and then Washington I still had plenty of time so went on to get Jefferson finished for March. First time I've done all 3 and first time solo. Saw about a half dozen hikers all day. Just a beautiful March day for the presis!
