Perfect day for a presidential hike and we went up the Ammonoosuc Ravine trail to Mt. Monroe then over on the Crawford Path to Mt Washington. The Ammo trail was wet, monorail fairly stable, water crossings normal or bridged then when we got to the hut the spikes came off and we bare booted the rest of the day! We decided to stay dry and walked out next to the Cog Railway instead of dealing with the deep snow in the woods and were glad to be home a little earlier.
