Beautiful morning hike up Mt. Monroe on the Ammo trail. Used snowshoes above gem pool all the way to the top and down, spikes the rest of the way. The snowshoes were beneficial for the televators on the steep stuff and the snow was looser up top so glad to have the extra traction. We finished well before noon so home in plenty of time to beat the winter storm that's on the way.
