We hiked the shorter Caps Ridge Trail up Mt. Jefferson and got an early start to beat the heat and avoid potential thunderstorms. The trail was slightly wet in spots from the night before but the caps were dry enough to scramble over without issue and we had fun. Met some nice people and dogs. We were so glad to be done by noon! Hot day! Finished my third round of 48 with this peak!
