Gorgeous day, a little chilly up top, but just perfect conditions for this 5.2 mile hike. The Canada Jays started following me at the junction of the Webster/Jackson trail all the way to the top and then back down again! I find it amazing they breed and incubate their eggs in the dead of winter....they sure were active today! Trail is in great shape, packed snow all the way to the top, a little fluffy in sections, no ice. I used snowshoes for the televators but really could have just used micro spikes.
