Sunrise to sunset hike with a chilly zero degree start but perfect conditions with plenty of blue skies to enjoy at the summit of Isolation. The Engine Hill bushwhack track is longer than usual. Track was packed so started in microspikes but switched to snowshoes because I kept falling in the post holes which were covered with fresh snow and wrenching my knee. A lot of the holes were from moose -- we came across an area in one of the glades where the moose had recently been sleeping.
