Visited the Hancocks on a very wet day and enjoyed the solitude of the woods, early foliage, and rushing streams. The water crossings were challenging but fun -- I used to hate them so must be getting better at it, and the changing leaves made this walk in the woods surreal at times. Saw a few warblers on the top of Mt. Hancock and only 3 people all day.
