Hiked Garfield and got a late start but I finished and this one is done now for the grid! Conditions were strange -- hard packed base from all the skiers on the Garfield trail but it was so warm the snow was a sticky mess. I didn't use any traction until I got up to the Garfield Ridge trail then switched to snowshoes and left them on for the duration. Very warm today, the water crossings were still bridged, trail is in great shape, but very sticky and slushy today like spring hiking.
