I had never hiked the Osseo trail to Mt. Flume so today I decided this 11 mile out and back route would be a good choice. It was really windy up top from the hurricane so this hike turned out to be a good option since most of it is in the woods. Lincoln Woods is just starting to show a little color, the Pemigewasset is so low it's scary! Nice day, warm again then blustery and chilly so had a bit of everything. This is a relatively easy hike, it climbs about 3400 ft of ascent and yes, most of its in the last mile, but it didn't feel that tough.
