Fall is finally here! Gorgeous hiking weather, lot's of wildlife, and great company on the Carters. First time since May that I've hiked these 3 peaks and it was great to see how much work has been done on the trail. Almost 13 miles with about 4200 ft of ascent elevation....long day but very rewarding! Saw several hawks soaring from the summit of Carter Dome and a moose on the drive up in the morning!
