Beautiful day to hike South and Middle Carter with the added bonus of Imp Face. We experienced avoidable ice above 4000 ft, plenty of water and mud plus a lot of new trees down on the trails from the storms last week. The views were beautiful, the temp was perfect and we had nice company for this 11.2 mile hike.
