This hike is 9.9 miles with 3353 ft of ascent elevation and we finished in 5.5 hours including breaks. Didn't see anyone on the way up -- just one hiker with a friendly dog coming down then we had the entire summit to ourselves. On the way back was a different story -- big group of 10 then several couples coming up and some brave young people hauling gear to camp out. Not much of a view today and it was cold, really cold up there, my fingers were freezing! Beautiful winter wonderland!
