First hike in the White Mountains since March so we kept it small and enjoyed Cannon. Always a challenge even though the hike is short (5 miles) because of the steepness and rugged HI-Cannon trail. Snow and ice above 3200 ft so used spikes on and off when needed. Beautiful day and saw a Black Bear near the junction with the Lonesome Lake trail on the way down.
