Mount Cabot is the northern most 4000 footer in NH and can be a long day to hike this wooded peak because of the drive. Even though I've done this hike a few times this one was one of the most exciting for me because we saw a Bald Eagle at the viewpoint almost a mile from the summit. Amazing experience and the wildflowers were just gorgeous! Also saw a Black-throated blue Warbler and a Magnolia Warbler and started the day with a Belted Kingfisher near the trailhead.
