We hiked the 22.6 mile out and back from Lincoln Woods to finish the Bonds for our winter list. It was super windy up on the ridge, an exciting day in blustery conditions! Maneater sized post holes and spruce traps between Bond and West Bond made for slow going. We saw a white winged crossbill on Mt. Bond, singing away in the fog, and finished with a pair of Peregrine Falcons zooming past us on our final descent of Bondcliff. It's so wild out there....always love this hike!
