Definitely a top ten hike in the beautiful White Mountain National Forest! This one is way up there, long drive so I'd never done it before. Just wow!! I have to say this hike made me fall in love with hiking again. Lot's of big granite slabs and scambles and miles of above treeline granite walks with 360 degree views made me feel like I was in Maine. This one was almost 10 miles, 3600 ft of ascent so even though the Baldfaces aren't 4000 footers they sure feel like it!!
