Le groupe de Ruolos

Le groupe de Ruolos se trouve à une quinzaine de kilomètres au sud d’Angkor. C’est un site pré-Angkorien. Le Bakong, construit sous le règne d’Indravarman Ier (roi de 877 a 889) est un temple- montagne en grès qui servira de modèle pour les réalisations ultérieures de l’Art Khmer.

The Ruolos ensemble is located about 15 kilometers south of Angkor. It is a pre-angkorian site. The Bakong, built during the reign of Indravarman I (King from 877 to 889) is a sandstone temple- mountain that will serve as a model for later Khmer Art achievements.
