Bayon (XII-XIII C.)

Le Bayon, situé au centre d’Angkor Thom est l’un des endroits le plus fascinant du site.
C’est un temple-montagne qui donne une représentation symbolique du mythique Mont Meru., qui se situe au centre du monde aussi bien dans la mythologie Hindou que Bouddhiste.

The Bayon, located in the center of Angkor Thom is one of the most fascinating places of the site.
It is a "temple-mountain" that gives a symbolic representation of the mythical Mount Meru., which is located at the center of the world according to both Hindu and Buddhist mythology.
