Pradakshina.

Kalimpong - West Bengal.

Un homme, chapelet en main, pratique la circumambulation autour du Tharpa Choling Gompa (1926) de Kalimpong. Il montre ainsi sa vénération pour le temple, mais au-delà, pour le bouddha. « Pradakshina » est le mot sanscrit pour décrire ce rituel.

A man, rosary in hand, practices circumambulation around the Tharpa Choling Gompa (1926) of Kalimpong. He thus shows his veneration for the temple, but beyond, for the Buddha. «Pradakshina» is the Sanskrit word to describe this ritual.
