Le Clos Montmartre.

C’est le vignoble le plus ancien de Paris. Le premier cep de vigne aurait été planté au XIIème siècle par Adelaïde de Savoie, première abbesse de l’abbaye de Montmartre.
Il compte aujourd’hui 2000 pieds de vigne. Longtemps de qualité médiocre, ce n’est plus le cas aujourd’hui. Un oenologue et un vigneron s’occupent de ce vignoble qui a produit 1950 kilogrammes de raisin en 2016.
Chaque année le vin est vendu aux enchères et le bénéfice de cette vente profite aux ouvres sociales de la Butte.
La production actuelle (rouge et rosé) est de 1600 bouteilles.




It is the oldest vineyard in Paris. The first vine was planted in the 12th century by Adelaïde de Savoie, the first abbess of the Abbey of Montmartre.
It now has 2,000 vine stocks. Long time of poor quality, this is no longer the case today. An oenologist and a winemaker take care of this vineyard that produced 1950 kilograms of grapes in 2016.
Every year the wine is auctioned and the proceeds of this sale benefit the social works of the Butte.
The current production (red and rosé) is 1600 bottles.
