The Breton wrestling (« Gouren ») goes back to the oldest times as it was imported by the "Breton" migrants in the Vth century. The tournaments take place during the festivals, throughout the summer. Both fighters are in confrontation on a thick carpet of sawdust. The victory, or "lamm", is proclaimed when a fighter succeeds in putting on the ground his opponent on the back, with the touch on the ground 2 shoulders together, before quite different part of the body.
