A few years ago, during a television program which stages girls and young men with the aim of bringing together them and of creating - if possible - a sustainable relationship, a young worker was presented to one of the participants.
Attractive, funny, charismatic and nice, he however did not have the happiness to please the young woman. To give some explanations she says this:

"I prefer to cry in a Mercedes-Benz rather than to be happy on the back seat of a bicycle!".

That is the state of «romance» in current China, where the girls are not so numerous than the boys and thus have the choice ... and who, too often favor the material ease to the detriment of the sentiments ...



Il y a quelques années, lors d’une émission de télévision qui met en scène des jeunes filles et des jeunes hommes dans le but de les faire se rencontrer et de créer - si possible - une relation durable, l’on présenta un jeune ouvrier à l’une des participantes.
Séduisant, drôle, charismatique et sympathique, celui ci n’eût pas l’heur de plaire à la jeune femme. Pour s’en expliquer elle dit ceci :

«Je préfère pleurer à l’arrière d’une Mercedes-Benz plutôt que d’être heureuse sur le siège arrière d’une bicyclette ! ».

Voilà qui en dit l’on sur le romance, en Chine actuelle, où les filles sont moins nombreuses que les garçons et ont donc le choix... et qui, trop souvent privilégient l’aisance matérielle au détriment des sentiments...
