Vat Xieng Thong is the most luxurious temple of Luang Prabang. Its construction was ordered in 1560 by king of Laos. Its roofs which come down up to the ground constitute the most perfect example of the religious architecture of Luang Prabang. The mosaic on red bottom represents " the tree of life ".
