Patwon Ki Haveli. Jaisalmer.

Details of loggia (jharokha). Woodcarving balcony dated from beginning of XIX century. This is one of the five splendid Haveli of Jaisalmer were lived the five sons of a wealthy merchant, called Guman Chand Patwa, trading all over China and Afghanistan, jewels, opium, brocades...
The construction of these five haveli took fifty years.
