Early on XV century, Locronan, (Lokorn in Britton) trade all over Europe the Linen produced in the manufacture of the town. This linen equip the taller ships of the major European marines : French and British Royal Navy, Spanish war ships as well as the caravels of C. Colomb. The Britton merchants enrich the town. All the houses date from this period, XV and XVI century.
