Waikiki Beach wave pool opened June 8 at Hawaiian Falls Firewheel in Garland, Texas (NE of Dallas). Oka Anai, a band of singing surfers from Oahu, taught surf lessons and performed native songs and dances. There were hula hoop contests and lots of fun and games.
