Rest in Peace, Tom

On December 12, 2007, Colonel Thomas Bennett, USAF-Ret., was laid to rest near Covington, IN. He was a brave warrior and a humble farmer. He was a great American, loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father and friend. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

It was spine-tingling perfection, befitting his sacrifices, honor and duty. Tom would have been proud of his comrades. He also would have ben proud of his friends and neighbors and how they loved on his family.

David, your words and photos truly captured the moment. Thanks for doing this and thanks for being a great son-in-law to Dad, wife to Carolyn and Brother-in-law to me. The in-law thing is disappearing. Dad would have been pleased with the ceremony, wouldn't he?
